Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions team members Susan Brosnan, solution architect, and Lora Coggins, channel sales executive, are both recipients of The Shelby Report’s Women of Influence in the Food Industry award.

As a solutions architect, Susan Brosnan supports Toshiba’s most flexible and technologically advanced unified commerce solution yet known as the ELERA™ Commerce Platform. Her expertise in the retail food industry spans 23 years, and her influence is seen in the architecture and design of software solutions across Toshiba’s worldwide retail portfolio. Brosnan also holds the distinction of Toshiba Master Inventor with 29 Patent Filings and 95 Disclosure Publications.

Lora Coggins has also been active in the retail food service industry for about 23 years. As a channel sales executive, she supports resellers that sell technology solutions to retailers in the food service, grocery, and specialty retail segments. During the height of the pandemic, when in-person demonstrations and meetings were not possible, Coggins was resolute in maintaining and strengthening her relationships with resellers and transitioned to dynamic virtual interactions using the innovation studio at Toshiba’s Durham, North Carolina headquarters. Coggins also recently accepted a board position with the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA).
“Providing top-notch customer service and collaborating with partners is a huge part of my job,” says Coggins. “I am passionate about showcasing Toshiba’s innovative solutions so resellers can equip retailers with the best technology to achieve their goals.
